Our menu’s move with the seasons and exploit the rich diversity of seafood, meat, vegetables and fruits that Dorset has to offer.
Monday to Saturday inclusive we offer a range of absolutely gorgeous fresh cut sandwiches served with chips and a side salad.
On a Sunday we serve our traditional roast dinner all day (well, when we are open anyway between 1200 and 1500 (that’s noon and 3PM in old money) and between 1800 and 2200 (that’s 6PM to 10PM in old money) do bear in mind though that last food orders are taken at 9PM.
Monday to Wednesday we offer a variable set of menu options which always includes our excellent local steaks with a range of main plates on offer as well. Why not top off your meal with one of our seasonal desserts!
Thursday is our special Fish & Chips fixed menu offering
Friday is our special Freshly Cooked Pizza night!
Saturday is our special burger night.
Sunday is of course Sunday Roast service both at lunch-time and in the evening!
All dietary requirements are considered in the design of the menus, but please advise us when making a booking of any special needs and we will be pleased to work with you. Shave Cross Sunday lunches like the pub are traditional where a single local meat is chosen each week and celebrated in full, cooked in different ways within the roast dinner and served with all the traditional accompaniments. Always offering a vegetarian and seafood choice as well.
Lunch is served between 1200 and 1500 (noon to 3PM)
Dinner is served between 1800 and 2200 (6PM through 10PM but remember last orders for food are taken at 9PM).
